What Kind of Stories Can You Share?

We’re looking for authentic, meaningful stories from real teachers. Here are just a few ideas to get you started:

  • A fun classroom activity, lesson plan, or management tip that transformed your teaching.
  • A challenge you faced as a teacher and the creative way you overcame it.
  • Your go-to method for decompressing after a long day or staying motivated throughout the year.
  • A heartwarming or funny moment that reminds you why you love teaching.
  • A creative way you celebrate milestones, holidays, or successes with your students.
  • Anything else that you think other teachers can learn from or enjoy!

How It Works

We’ve made the process simple and fun for you!

  1. Submit Your Story Idea
    • Fill out our submission form with a brief description of your story.
    • Share what makes it special and why you think other teachers will find it helpful or inspiring.
  2. We’ll Review It
    • Our team will review all submissions and select stories that align with our blog’s mission.
    • If your story is a great fit, we’ll reach out to collaborate on creating a full blog post.
    • Not all submissions will be published, but we appreciate each one!
  3. Share More Details
    • If selected, we’ll ask you to share more about your story – this could include additional details, photos, or tips.
    • We’ll also gather a little information about you for our “About the Author” section: what grade you teach, fun facts about you, and more!
  4. Editing & Approval
    • Our team will format and edit the story to fit our blog’s style while keeping your voice intact.
    • Before publishing, we’ll send you a draft to review and approve.
  5. Published & Celebrated
    • Once approved, your story will be published on our blog!
    • We may also share it on social media, email newsletters, and other platforms to inspire even more educators.

Becoming a Contributor

Contributors who share multiple stories will be recognized with a personalized profile on our blog!
This includes:

  • A profile photo

  • A short bio

  • Links to your blog posts

  • (Optional) Links to your social media

You’ll also be eligible to be featured as our Blogger of the Month, spotlighted on the homepage and in our monthly newsletter.

Terms & Conditions

  1. No Guaranteed Publication
    • Submitting a story does not guarantee publication. We reserve the right to decline, edit, or delay submissions based on editorial needs.
  2. No Paid Compensation
    • This is a voluntary contribution. There is no monetary compensation for submissions, published or unpublished.
  3. Attribution & Author Recognition
    • You will be credited as the author of your story.
    • An “About the Author” section may be included with your submission.
    • If requested, we can publish your story anonymously (please specify in your submission).
  4. Editing & Formatting
    • We may make edits for grammar, clarity, and length while preserving the intent of your story.
    • If substantial changes are needed, we will send you a preview before publishing.
  5. Right to Remove Content
    • We reserve the right to remove or archive published stories if needed (e.g., outdated content, policy changes).
  6. Respectful & Appropriate Content
    • Submissions must be original and free from plagiarism.
    • No hate speech, inappropriate language, or promotional content will be accepted.
